GoWhere Guides is a small, independent publisher based in Jakarta and Singapore. We build focused city guides for Southeast Asia and Hong Kong: one subject per site, every listing checked by a person, written in plain English for the people who actually use them.
When you want a padel court in Jakarta, a rooftop bar in Bangkok or a proper pub in Singapore, you do not want a review site that covers everything badly. You want a short, trustworthy list and the details that matter: where it is, what it costs, when it is open and what it looks like.
Behind the sites is twenty years in Singapore hospitality, a long run in search and programmatic publishing, and a conviction that good directories are built, not scraped.
The first guide, Padel Go Where, began as a way to answer one question that kept coming up in Jakarta: where can I play? It grew into the largest English-language padel directory in the region, and the method behind it — research every club, verify every detail, photograph every court — became the template for everything since.
GoWhere Guides now runs seven guides covering more than 1,760 verified listings across ten countries: padel, craft beer, rooftop bars, cocktail bars, yoga studios, British and Irish pubs, and weekend brunch. Each site has its own domain and its own design, and all of them link to each other, so a reader who finds one can find the rest.
New subjects are added when three things line up: people are searching for it, nobody is answering well, and we can verify it properly. Several are in research now. If you think a subject belongs in the network, or a venue belongs on one of the guides, get in touch.
